Our Team · Delta, BC
A small, familiar team — most patients see the same few faces, appointment after appointment, year after year.
Dentist & Owner
Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Lam graduated from the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Dentistry in 2007. After beginning his career in Calgary he returned to the Lower Mainland, spending five years alongside Dr. Bruce Marshall on Vancouver's west side and more than seven years leading the team at Willow Dental Care on Robson Street.
In 2018 he bought this practice from Dr. Jeffry Davis. Seeing patients who had trusted Dr. Davis for thirty years changed how he thinks about family dentistry: it isn't simply treating every age, it's earning the kind of trust people don't move away from.
Outside the office, he's usually the one asking about your kids before he asks about your teeth.
Meet the Team
Whoever answers the phone or sits the chair next to you has usually been here a while — that's on purpose.
Dentist & Owner
A Vancouver-raised dentist and Brightsmile owner since 2018, Dr. Lam believes good dentistry starts with listening, building trust and getting to know his patients.
Reception Manager
A familiar face at Brightsmile since 2018, Mitch seems to remember every patient by name — and often their insurance details too! She helps keep the front office running smoothly while getting to know patients and their families.
Reception
Claire brings a calm, friendly presence to our reception desk and enjoys getting to know the patients who walk through our doors. Outside the office, she enjoys cars, family life and her dog, Mulder.
Licenced Dental Hygienist
Flora has been part of the Brightsmile team for about five years and is always ready to lend a hand and help keep the office running smoothly. Her caring nature and strong work ethic make her an important part of our team.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Originally from Montreal, Mia has been part of Brightsmile since 2018. She enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident about their oral health.
Registered Dental Hygienist
A Brightsmile team member since 2016, Amber enjoys helping patients understand their gum health and has a passion for dental education, having also taught as a clinical instructor at UBC.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brightsmile's newest hygienist, Flavia brings experience as a former dental assistant and a passion for helping others. Outside the office, she enjoys travelling, discovering new cuisines and volunteering in international dental hygiene missions.
Training & Standards
Our dental hygienists and dental assistants are regulated by the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP), and we keep up with continuing education as standards and techniques evolve — so the care you get today reflects current best practice, not just how things were done in 1983.
