1. Our Commitment

Brightsmile Delta Dental Centre is committed to making both our website and our physical office welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with visual, hearing, mobility, or cognitive disabilities. Accessibility is something we keep working at, not a box we consider checked.

2. Website Accessibility

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That includes:
~ Descriptive alt text for meaningful images;
~ Sufficient colour contrast between text and background;
~ A layout that can be navigated by keyboard alone;
~ Text that can be resized in your browser without breaking the layout;
~ Clear heading structure and page titles for screen readers.

We treat this as an ongoing target rather than a guarantee — if you find a page or feature that doesn't meet this standard, please let us know (see Section 5).

3. Office Accessibility

We want your visit to our Delta office to be as easy to navigate as our website. If you have specific mobility, sensory, or other accessibility needs — parking, step-free access, room to manoeuvre a wheelchair or mobility aid, or anything else — please call us before your appointment at 604-591-5242 so we can confirm what's available and make sure your visit is set up properly in advance.

4. Assistive Technology

This site is built to work with common assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS), voice control software, and browser zoom and high-contrast settings. If something isn't behaving the way you'd expect with the assistive technology you use, we'd like to know.

5. Feedback & Reporting Issues

If you encounter an accessibility barrier — on our website or in our office — please tell us. We take reports seriously and will do our best to address genuine issues in a timely way. When reporting a website issue, it helps to include the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using.

6. Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility standards and best practices evolve, and so does our website. We review and update our approach periodically, and welcome feedback at any time — not just when something is broken.
